How it works

Step 1
You describe what you’re building (or just hit ‘Surprise me’)
One sentence is enough. Optionally narrow by industry, vibe, max name length, allowed TLDs, or naming style (phrase / brandable / dictionary / compound).
Step 2
AI generates 60-100 candidate names
Pick one of 4 reliable LLMs from the model selector. Default is DeepSeek-v3 — fastest at ~$0.005 per search. The system prompt is carefully tuned to mix naming styles and avoid the obvious-but-already-taken combos. Persistent history means subsequent searches won't repeat past names.
Step 3
Every candidate is checked in parallel
RDAP (modern WHOIS) + DNS lookup + linguistic + TLD-pricing — 4 checks per candidate, with concurrency 14. ~5 seconds total for 80 domains.
Step 4
Budget filter (optional, but powerful)
If you set a max $/year budget, strict mode kicks in: only confirmed-available domains where the TLD's real first-year price is at-or-below your budget pass. We track ~80 TLD prices from Namecheap / Porkbun / Cloudflare retail.
Step 5
Streaming results, one card at a time
Picks appear as their availability resolves — no 40-second blank spinner. Fast mode skips AI ranking and goes straight to raw available names. Analysis mode runs a final Claude rerank on the shortlist for fit-to-brief reasoning.

Save what you like, compare side-by-side
Star any pick to save it locally (no account needed). On /favorites you can compare 2-4 starred domains side-by-side, copy all to clipboard, or export CSV / Markdown.
Step 7
Persistent history — never see the same name twice
Every domain we show you is auto-saved to your browser. The next search auto-excludes them. Capped at 5,000 entries with auto-trim. Reset anytime.
Why it’s better than ChatGPT for this
